During my childhood I lived in Chicago in one of the toughest in inner city neighborhoods of the city. I was a fast learned as a child and love to play with Elmer’s Glue and always made a big mess. My sticky hands would stick to paper, chairs, walls and other kids. During the summer I would hustle enough money to attend Summer Camp to give the parents a break. To me this was exploration time for me to test the new skills and meet new friends. I vividly remember the Camp Counselor telling stories and roast marshmallow over an open fire on a stick. Boy oh boy! ‘Were those the days’. Relationships were forged and broken back in the woods of a forgotten place. We fished, played games, and singed songs and hoping that the excitement would never end. Inevitably life goes on and people take different pathways. Now our youth must reinvent themselves a future to recapture the dream that once shaped a community.

The lockout is over and it is certainly time to dust off the cobwebs off the favorite NFL apparel. Because Monday and Sunday night is going to be exciting to watch the favorite team.
